Paintings done in late 2008 for Louise. I had a pre-assigned palette which at first seemed like a difficult restriction but turned out to be a very useful tool for focusing my attention on design and space.

painting off the coast of Maine

First painting stop for the summer was Trafton Island off the coast of Maine. It was so overwhelming to be there that I'm afraid not much painting got done, but lots of stimulating vista's were observed and hopefully absorbed into the creative part of my psyche for later reference.
